Ethiopia Masha Haile Estate

Recently Matt, avid runner and owner of Anodyne, had heard about a coffee farm in Ethiopia that is owned and operated by now retired Olympic Runner, Haile Gebrselassie. Haile is a two-time Olympic Champ, a four-time world champ, and currently holds 27 world records for fastest time in the 1,500 meter up to the marathon. Haile, considered by many to be the GOAT of long distance running, is a very inspirational figure and is involved in many social and economic programs in his community, such as organizing a race in Ethiopia called Girls Run, encouraging and empowering young women through sports. He also founded a 10K race around Addis Ababa, the capitol of Ethiopia, called The Great Ethiopian Run – the largest organized running event in Africa. Haile's farm is Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified.
