About the Coffee
This natural processed, very clean and very snappy coffee comes from Finca Buenos Aires which is owned by 4th generation coffee farmer, Ricardo Kriete. Ricardo grew up on his family farm El Rosario, which he now owns and operates alongside Finca Buenos Aires. Finca Buenos Aires is located in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador near a large stratovolcano called the Santa Ana Volcano or Ilamatepec. Positioned in the mountains between elevations of 1,500 – 2,000 MASL and a high average rainfall per year make for perfect coffee growing conditions. Finca Buenos Aires also has its own mill, allowing Ricardo to experiment with different processing methods, as well as using African style raised beds to dry the cherries.
