Ethiopia Guji Uraga

This fully washed coffee comes from smallholder farmers in the Uraga region in Guji. The coffee here is grown in rich volcanic soils at elevations of 1,750 – 2,300 MASL. The ripe cherries are first picked, then sorted before pulping to ensure even ripeness and quality. They are then pulped and left to ferment for up to 36 hours in large tanks. After fermentation the remaining mucilage is then washed off in water and left to dry on raised beds in the sun.
