About the Coffee
This new coffee also comes from the famous Yirgacheffe coffee growing region of Ethiopia. Idido is the name of the washing station and town in this part of Ethiopia. The people that live in this area grow traditional landrace (heirloom) varieties of coffees, and sell their coffee cherries to this station. This coffee has some similarities to our washed Yirgacheffe coffee – very bright and tea-like. This one though, is processed as a natural! It is more fruit-forward than our washed Ethiopia with some nice strawberry sweetness. It has some jasmine-like tea qualities, and it is also quite creamy, with some nice stone fruit notes as well. I think you will love this one!
