About the Coffee
This organic-certified and natural-processed coffee comes from the estate of Ethiopian olympic runner Haile Gebrselassie in the town of Masha. Haile's team is very present in the community -- they work with local farmers to share knowledge of coffee growing and have done social projects such as building a school, as well as using sustainable farming practices. They also designated 250 hectares of land surrounding the farm as a nature preserve. This coffee is dried in the sun with the fruit still intact to impart a very nice, sweet and sometimes candy-like taste.
