About the Coffee
Fazenda Chapadão is a family-run farm that is focused on quality of specialty coffee lots through innovative processes, as well as investments and education for their knowledgeable team. The name Chapadão, is in reference to the area where the farm is located, on a plateau which receives ample sunlight. Cool temperatures, aided by the relatively high elevation of 1,200 MASL, make this site ideal for growing coffee. This micro-lot is a natural processed coffee, which is common in Brazil. Ideal weather conditions allow these coffees to dry slowly and evenly, resulting in classic Brazilian profiles of milk chocolate, graham, and nutty-ness.
This coffee is a unique variety of rubi, a cross between catuai and mundo novo, known for its exceptional quality and high yields. Being a rare microlot from Brazil, it's a delightful addition to our lineup.
