About the Coffee
Named after the Mbilima washing station and part of the greater DekundeKawa Cooperative, this fully washed red bourbon variety is bright in acidity and holds excellent clarity. The Mbilima washing station was established in 2005 to help support farmers facing long journeys to the Ruli washing station. These long journeys have previously impacted coffee quality. At 1,800 meters above sea level, this farm has excellent tropical rains and no shortage of sunshine. This tropical climate produces delicious coffee, and this Rwanda is no exception.
